Hewlett Packard today announced that their fourth quarter earnings were below analysts' forecasts. The world's third largest computer manufacturer reported earnings per share of 41 cents, well below market expectations of 51 cents.
Revenue for the period rose 17% to $13.3 billion. Hewlett Packard employs over 2,000 people in Ireland.
The computer firm also said today that it had ended talks with Price Waterhouse Coopers about buying its consultancy business.
