A young baker from Co Kildare is hoping to turn her recipe for success on TikTok into a viable business.
21-year-old Alice Kelly has 1.4 million followers on the social media platform, where she has documented her journey of transforming a dilapidated 1960s horse box into a mobile bakery.
Alice says followers ask every day when her food truck will be out next.
However, the rising costs of ingredients has led her to focus more on working at private events to cut down on wasting food - and money - if items went unsold.
Alice still lives at home and works out of her parents' kitchen. But her dream is to open her own bakery, and she is "saving every penny" to make it a reality.
"Everything I do is working towards that. With the Budget around the corner, it would be so helpful for all small businesses if we had some way of tackling the inflation of ingredients," she said.
