Lloyds downplays UK bank tax fears as profits hold steady
Lloyds Banking Group has shrugged off fears of a bank tax hike in the UK budget next week, with CFO William Chalmers saying Britain's biggest mortgage lender would play its role in helping the country prosper, "whatever the tax environment".
