Fianna Fáil is not having a relaxing weekend.
In fact, agitation is rapidly growing across the party in the aftermath of the Presidential Election.
The scale of Fianna Fáil's disastrous campaign coupled with the astounding number of spoiled votes has heaped pressure on the party leader.
It had looked as if Micheál Martin's emotional mea culpa to TDs and senators a few weeks ago had lanced the boil of the festering anger sparked by Jim Gavin's exit from the presidential campaign.
Not so, it seems.
Watch: Election result reflects error of judgement that will have consequences - Lahart
Now that the final Presidential Election results have delivered a damning verdict on the Government parties, some in Fianna Fáil want Mr Martin's continued leadership of the party discussed.
There is an active conversation taking place across the party, which includes more than those who are perpetually aggrieved with the long-serving leader.
Pressure will now mount ahead of the Dáil returning the week after next.
The thinking is that a series of "mini detonations" will set the scene for a showdown at the weekly parliamentary party meeting.
This time Mr Martin's leadership could be in greater peril than ever before.
He will have to draw on all his innate political survival skills once again if he is to emerge intact.
