Independent ticketing company Tickets.ie ceases trading

Tickets.ie has ceased trading
Tickets.ie said customers with tickets for upcoming events should wait to hear from the relevant event promoter regarding their event.

The company behind one of Ireland's largest independent event ticketing companies Tickets.ie has ceased trading as it plans to enter liquidation.

In a statement, Tickets.ie said customers with tickets for upcoming events should wait to hear from the relevant event promoter regarding their event.

The company said all enquiries should be directed to the appointed liquidator, whose details will be published on www.tickets.ie once appointed.

The statement said Oshi Software Limited, trading as Tickets.ie, ceased trading and the directors are taking steps to place the company into liquidation and appoint a liquidator over the company.

They said the winding up is being conducted in accordance with the Companies Act.

The company thanked its "customers, event promoters, and partners for their support and loyalty over many years".

"It has been a privilege to serve the Irish events community, and we are grateful for the trust you placed in Tickets.ie," the statement concluded.
