A UCD staff member is due in court this morning charged in connection with unlawfully accessing student data at the college.
The man, who is in his 50s, was arrested this morning following an investigation by the Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau.
Over 100 victims, whose personal information and images were accessed, were interviewed by gardaí.
The man has been charged with over 140 offences and is due before the Dublin District Court this morning.
Gardaí say they are continuing to contact victims and offer them support and are also engaging with University College Dublin.
