A man in his 30s has died following a single-vehicle road crash in west Dublin.
The incident happened on Powerstown Road in Tyrrelstown, Dublin 15 at around 6pm yesterday.
The man was a passenger in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was brought to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown where a post-mortem examination is due to take place.
The driver, a man in his 40s, was brought to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Another passenger, a woman in her 30s, is receiving treatment for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
The road was closed for a technical examination and has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and ask anyone who was travelling on the road between 5.30pm and 6.30pm, and who may have camera footage, including dash cam, to contact them.
