A woman in her 30s has died following a three-car crash in Co Limerick.
The incident happened on the N24 near Grange West, Boher at around 11.10pm last night.
The woman, who was the only person in one of the cars, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí say the driver of one of the other cars fled the scene and they are seeking to identify them.
The third driver, a man in his 40s, was brought to University Hospital Limerick with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
The body of the woman was also brought to University Hospital Limerick and a post-mortem examination will take place.
Gardaí say the N24 between R505 and L1132 remains closed and a technical examination will take place.
They added that local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
They are asking road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling on road between 10.45pm and 11.30pm to contact them.
