Herbal cannabis worth €10.12m has been seized and three men have been arrested in Co Louth as part of Operation Tara, a joint operation was conducted by Revenue Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
This operation involved the search of a premises in the Co Louth area and resulted in the seizure of 506kg of cannabis, with an estimated value of €10.12m.
Three males, two in their 30s and one in his 50s, were arrested in relation to facilitating and enhancing drug trafficking activities for an organised crime group.
They are currently detained at Garda stations in Counties Louth and Dublin.
Investigations are ongoing.
