Officials in US President Donald Trump's administration continue to defend the fatal shooting of a man on Saturday by immigration agents in Minneapolis, despite video evidence to the contrary.
Alex Pretti, who worked as an intensive care nurse, is the second US citizen to be fatally shot by ICE officers this month in Minneapolis.
Officials have claimed that Mr Pretti assaulted officers, compelling them to fire in self-defence.
But that account is at odds with video footage recorded by members of the public.
Niall Stanage, White House columnist with The Hill, told Behind the Story that claims by US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem that Mr Pretti was there to cause "maximum damage on individuals" are hard to reconcile with the evidence.
"I simply don't know how you could look at the video evidence, thus far available, and honestly reach that conclusion," he said.
"It has caused real popular outrage… the Wall Street Journal, a newspaper that takes a very reliably conservative line, is out this morning saying that ICE operations in Minneapolis are becoming 'a political and moral debacle for the Trump presidency'.
"That sort of language from a traditionally rather conservative quarter does speak to the level of horror about this."
EU investigates Grok
Work and Technology Correspondent Brian O’Donovan also joins Fran and Karen on an EU investigation being launched into Grok, the AI tool which is part of the social media platform X.
It follows an outcry over the spread of sexually explicit manipulated AI images, including those of children.
Brian said the investigation is likely to take "months" to complete.
"There’ll probably be a fine, which will be appealed, so that will be more months - and years, potentially – before it finally gets wrapped," he explained.
