Teenage girl seriously injured in Finglas scrambler crash

A teenage girl has sustained serious injuries after being struck by a scrambler bike in Finglas in west Dublin.

The incident occurred around 2.20pm on the Ratoath Road between Scribblestown and Dunsink.

The girl was brought to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown for treatment of her injuries.

A man in his late teens and a teenage boy, who were travelling on the scrambler, are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The road is closed and a technical examination is being conducted by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them, in particular any road users or pedestrians who may have footage, including dash-cam, and who were in the area between 2.10pm and 2.40pm.
