Watch: Skiers make heart-shaped tribute in memory of Swiss fire victims

Skiers have formed a heart shape on a slope in Crans-Montana in memory of the victims of the deadly fire that ripped through the 'Le Constellation' bar on New Years Eve.

Forty people died in the fire and 119 others were injured, many of them severely.

All of the 40 victims who died were identified on Sunday. Many of them were teenagers.

The cause of the fire has yet to be established, but initial investigations have pointed to sparklers on champagne bottles which were carried close to the ceiling as the likely source of the blaze.

This video was released on the social media channels of the Crans-Montana tourism office.

A comment accompanying the clip said: "In deep solidarity, Crans-Montana and the entire ski community mourn together.

"Our thoughts go out to all the victims, as well as to those providing care, help and support. We stand together in this difficult time."
