A 38-year-old man has appeared in court on terror charges following a cross-border investigation into violent right-wing extremism.
Connor Pollock, of Croob Park in Ballynahinch, Co Down, is accused of withholding information about the preparation of a terrorist act.
The charge relates to a planned attack on a mosque by a group styling itself the Irish Defence Army.
He is also charged with possession of documents or records useful to terrorists.
That relates to his alleged possession of a claim of responsibility by the same organisation for the burning of a mosque.
The same document included threats of violence against facilities for migrants and those providing them.
The final charge relates to the possession of a mobile phone for purposes connected with the preparation of an act of terrorism.
A detective sergeant told Downpatrick Magistrates' Court that he believed he could connect the accused to the charges.
A defence solicitor said there would be no application for bail today but one would be made next week.
The accused was remanded in custody.
Mr Pollock was arrested in Ballynahinch on Tuesday.
A woman arrested in Lurgan as part of the same investigation has been released to be reported to Northern Ireland's Public Prosecution Service.
Another man detained in Kilkeel, Co Down, has been released from police custody
