Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky received a standing ovation while addressing a joint sitting of the Oireachtas in Dublin this afternoon.
He began his address by thanking Ireland for providing homes and protection to his citizens when they needed the help the most.
He also thanked TDs and Senators for their "steadfast support" for Ukraine, adding that there is a "real chance" for peace if the whole world is prepared to seize it.
The Ukrainian president appealed to Irish people to continue giving support to his country, saying "never lose your faith in Ukraine".
