A girl is in a critical condition in hospital after being struck by a lorry in Co Derry this afternoon.
The crash occurred in the Boleran Road area of Limavady shortly before 4pm.
PSNI members along with fire and ambulance service personnel attended the scene.
In a statement, the PSNI said the girl remains in hospital and is being treated for injuries which are described as critical.
The road where the crash occurred remains closed and road users are advised to seek an alternative route.
