An investigation is continuing into the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in Conamara yesterday.
The body of the woman, who was in her 60s, was found at her home in Sáile Chuanna.
The house is located around 2km west of the village of An Spidéal.
Emergency services were called to the property at around 5.30pm on Friday evening.
The scene was preserved overnight and a technical examination was carried out throughout today.
The woman's body was removed University Hospital Galway, where a post mortem examination was conducted by the State Pathologist.
Gardaí say they are not releasing the results for operational reasons.
