The posthumous memoir of the late Virginia Giuffre has been published and details sexual encounters with Jeffrey Epstein and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell.
Ms Giuffre also outlines alleged sexual encounters with Britain's Prince Andrew.
It comes amid growing pressure on the British Royal Family to formally remove the prince's titles.
He announced on Friday that he has given up use of his royal titles and honours amid intensified focus on his links with paedophile financier Epstein and days before the publication of Ms Giuffre's book.
The prince denies the allegations that Ms Giuffre was forced to have sex with him three times after being trafficked by Epstein.
Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while in prison awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.
Many of the allegations contained in the posthumous memoir are well known.
However, there are new claims, including that she suffered a miscarriage after having sex with a number of people.
One of them was allegedly Prince Andrew, who denies any wrongdoing.
Ms Giuffre, who wrote of a lifetime of abuse, perpetrated by many people including her father, said she feared of dying a sex slave to the late paedophile Epstein and his inner circle.
The publication of her memoir comes almost six months after she died by suicide at the age of 41.
A Buckingham Palace source said the new allegations against Prince Andrew are of "very serious and grave concern" and should be "examined in the appropriate way".
The Metropolitan Police is said to be "actively" looking into claims Andrew passed Ms Giuffre's date of birth and social security number to his bodyguard in a bid to prepare a smear campaign against her.
