Irish author and flotilla activist Naoise Dolan has returned to Ireland after being detained by Israel.
Ms Dolan was one of five Irish activists captured by Israeli forces last week, after a number of vessels in the Global Sumud Flotilla were intercepted.
After arriving back to Dublin Airport this afternoon, Ms Dolan vowed to "keep fighting for a free Palestine".
"I have seen first hand what we’re dealing with here and a fraction of the brutality they inflict on Palestinians," she said.
Ms Dolan displayed bruises on her arm and added, "This is what they do to white women with EU passports, let’s think about what they’re doing to Palestinians."
When asked about the Gaza ceasefire deal, she said, "I hope that something good will come from it but it’s more hope than rationality at this stage.
"It’s important we don’t be complacent and we keep at it until there is true justice for Palestine because without justice there cannot be peace."
