US President Donald Trump has told the Israeli parliament that the Gaza peace deal represented a historic dawn of a new Middle East, describing it as a "triumph" for Israel and the world.
His address followed the release of all 20 living Israeli hostages from Gaza and the release of around 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees.
Watch: Trump tells Israeli parliament it is a 'historic dawn' of a new Middle East
Mr Trump is the fourth US president to address the Israeli parliament - but he got a welcome today unlike those who preceded him.
The chamber was packed with lawmakers wearing red baseball caps declaring 'Trump the Peace President'.
Israeli officials queued up to say he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize.
Mr Trump told the Knesset that Israel had won all it could win by force of arms, and that it was time to translate battlefield victories into peace and prosperity for the Middle East.
He declared this "the historic dawn of a new Middle East".
