Two men have been arrested after another man was seriously assaulted in Co Tipperary.
The incident happened in Knockane at around 9pm last night.
The victim, who is in his 40s, was treated at the scene and brought to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries.
The two men arrested, who are both in their 20s, are being held at a garda station in Co Tipperary.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
