Several people have been taken to hospital after they became unwell in a house in Belfast due to potential contact with a noxious substance.
The incident occurred at Damascus Street in the south of the city.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Four people were taken to hospital and a number of police officers, as a precaution, have also been taken to hospital. It follows potential contact with a possibly noxious substance in the property."
The PSNI said their conditions are "not life-threatening".
"Specialist colleagues are conducting checks and there is no wider risk to the public at this time," a spokesperson added.
A spokesperson for the NI Ambulance Service said the alarm was raised shortly after 5pm and four emergency crews were dispatched.
"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, four patients was taken to the Riyal Victoria Hospital," the spokesperson added.
A spokesperson for Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) said crews from Central, Cadogan, Lisburn and Dromore initially attended, supported by five officers.
