A murder investigation is continuing into the death of a man in Lisburn, Co Antrim, yesterday.

The PSNI has named the victim as 42-year-old Barry Furfey.

Mr Furfey was found seriously injured at an address in the Wardsborough Road area of Lisburn in the early hours of yesterday. He died later in hospital from his injuries.

Detective Inspector Jill Angus said: "My thoughts are with Barry's family, who are left to try to come to terms with their devastating loss."

A 38-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday and they remain in custody today.

Det Insp Angus appealed to anyone with information to contact detectives.
