A new video released by the FBI has shown the alleged shooter in Charlie Kirk's murder running across the roof of a school building, and eventually going into the wooded area near the university, where officials found the gun.
Police say they believe the shooter fired a single bullet from a rooftop up to 180m away, hitting Mr Kirk in the neck.
The FBI said the suspect is seen jumping from the rooftop of a building after the shooting.
Around 12pm local time on Wednesday, the suspect climbed up to a rooftop, after Mr Kirk was shot and then jumped off and ran away.
The FBI also added that trace evidence collected from the rooftop scene included shoe impressions, a forearm imprint, and a palm print.
