A note allegedly from Donald Trump wishing late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein happy birthday - and alluding to their "wonderful secret" - has been released by House Democrats, after the US president denied it existed.
Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee, which is probing the handling of a criminal investigation into the disgraced financier, published the letter and drawing of a nude woman on social media after it was delivered by Epstein's estate.
The White House has said Mr Trump "did not sign" or draw the alleged note.
"As I have said all along, it's very clear President Trump did not draw this picture, and he did not sign it," Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said on X.
Ms Leavitt added that the story about the lewd note was "false" and said Mr Trump's legal team would "continue to aggressively pursue litigation" against the Wall Street Journal, which first reported the existence of the letter.
Mr Trump, a long-time friend of Epstein, previously said he did not write the letter or create the drawing of a curvaceous woman that surrounds the letter. He filed a $10 billion lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal for a report on the alleged letter.
The letter was included as part of a 2003 album compiled for Epstein's birthday.
The president has denied having anything to do with it.

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee received a copy of the birthday album as part of a batch of documents from Epstein’s estate.
The White House did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment.
Mr Trump has denied writing the letter and creating the drawing, calling a report on it "false, malicious, and defamatory".
"These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don’t draw pictures," Mr Trump said.

The letter released by the committee looks exactly as described by the Wall Street Journal in its report.
The letter bearing Mr Trump's name and signature includes text framed by a hand-drawn outline of what appears to be a curvaceous woman.
"A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday - and may every day be another wonderful secret," the letter says.
Epstein, a wealthy financier with high-level connections around the world, was found dead in his New York jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial for alleged sex trafficking of underage girls.
Mr Trump's supporters have been obsessed with the Epstein case for years and held as an article of faith that 'deep state' elites were protecting Epstein associates in the Democratic Party and Hollywood.
But many of his supporters have been up in arms since the FBI and Justice Department said in July that Epstein had committed suicide, did not blackmail any prominent figures, and did not keep a 'client list'.
Mr Trump has repeatedly attempted to bury the controversy amid growing questions about the extent of his own relationship with the sex offender.
