A man in his 40s has been injured during the course of a shooting near a shopping centre in Dublin, gardaí have said.
The incident happened at the Corduff Shopping Centre at Blackcourt Avenue at around 4:40pm.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries that gardaí described as "non-life threatening".
The scene of the shooting in Dublin 15 has been cordoned off and a technical examination is under way.
Gardaí said no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
They have appealed for any persons or road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and who were travelling in the area between 4:20pm and 5:20pm to make the content available to them.
