Two men have been seriously injured and another man has been arrested following a serious assault in Dublin city centre.
The incident happened on Seán MacDermott Street Upper, Dublin 1 at around 5.30pm.
Two men, both aged in their 20s, were brought to Mater Misericordiae University Hospital with serious injuries.
A technical examination of the scene is due to take place.
The arrested man, who is also in his 20s, is being held at a garda station in Dublin.
Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
