Emergency services are at the scene of a serious road crash on the N7.
The incident, involving a number of cars, happened at around 6.40pm on the westbound side of the road at Rathcoole.
The road is closed and westbound traffic is being diverted at Junction 4 (Rathcoole).
Gardaí say a truck overturned during the incident.
The vehicle is on its side and is currently blocking the road on the N7.
The section of the road may be closed overnight as emergency services try and safely clear the area.
