A man in his 40s has died after a crash in Co Limerick this morning.
The collision between two cars happened on the N20 at Ballyouragan, Croom, at around 7.25am.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The road remains closed for forensic investigation with local diversions in place.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 7am and 7.30am have been asked to make this footage available to gardaí.
