A woman in her late teens has died following a road crash in Co Galway over the weekend.
The incident involving two cars happened on the Ballygaddy Road in Tuam at around 6.05pm on Sunday.
The woman was driving one of the cars and was brought to University Hospital Galway for treatment and has since passed away.
The other driver, a man in his 20s, and a passenger in his car, a woman in her 30s, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone who was travelling on the road between 5.50pm and 6.05pm or anyone who may have camera footage, including dash cam, to contact them.
