Kenneth Strange is a former FBI agent and is friends with the family of Annie McCarrick, who went missing from her Dublin home in 1993.
A suspect who was this week arrested in connection with her murder was later released without charge.
A cadaver dog has also been brought in to search a house in Clondalkin in Dublin, which has been sealed off for the past two days. Gardaí say the current residents are not connected in any way with Ms McCarrick or her disappearance.
Fran McNulty and Katie Hannon talk to Mr Strange about the case, and are also joined by Dr Eugenio Lilli of UCD to talk about Israel's strikes on Iran that killed the head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Hossein Salami, as well as the chief of staff of its armed forces Mohammad Bagheri.
Six nuclear scientists are also reported to have been killed.
Dr Lilli gives his analysis on the situation, and how Iran may react.
He also gives some insight into the wider consequences of Israel’s move on the Middle East.
