Hundreds of people queued up as the latest phase of a new housing development went on sale in Dublin 22, between Clondalkin and Lucan.
In a clear sign of the massive demand for housing and continuous issues around supply, some people arrived overnight in a bid to secure one of the units at Seven Mills.
It is understood around 40 homes - with a three-bed unit priced from €480,000 - went on sale at 8am at Lockhouse Way. By 10am they were all sold.
There were many disappointed people including Shane Kelly who is from the area.

"I am from Clondalkin and want to stay living here. It's so disheartening," he said describing the lack of housing as "appalling."
He worries that it is getting to a stage where people have to sleep in their cars overnight and queue through the night to secure a house.
Others also shared a similar sentiment of missing out on a home by minutes.
"We were five minutes too late," said one woman who was visibly upset at missing out on securing a home here.
Marie Mamayuk said she arrived after 8am but was aware early on of the possibility of missing out when she heard that others much further up the queue had been here overnight.
She said she has been searching for a home for a year and the prices keep going up and she also described the challenge of finding a home in Dublin, particularly for someone like her who is purchasing on her own.
Amanda and Cynan were hoping to be placed high on the cancellation list once they knew houses had sold out.

Des Donnelly, Director of Hooke and McDonald, said "today is a clear reflection that there is a supply issue generally."
Many people here highlight the general sense of frustration of having saved for a long time and with a mortgage approval in many cases of €500,000, they still cannot secure a home.
Nearly 2,000 apply for 20 rental homes in Clongriffin
Separately, the housing body Respond has confirmed that almost 2,000 people have applied for 20 cost rental homes in a housing development in Clongriffin.
The closing date for applications is on Tuesday.
These units are the first of 64 rental homes to be delivered in the mixed development at Griffin Point in Dublin 13.
Cost rental properties are open to individuals or families who are priced out of the private rental market and who earn less than or up to €66,000 per year.
The first release of properties at Griffin Point includes ten one-bedroom and ten two-bedroom apartments with rents set at 25% below the market rates.
The Department of Housing said that affordable housing schemes, including cost rental, are now "operating at scale" and this momentum will continue.
The department was asked for a response to the significant demand for affordable rent following the applications for the Clongriffin development.

In a statement it said that to date, over 5,600 cost rental homes have been approved for funding under the Cost Rental Equity Loan, to be delivered by Approved Housing Bodies, including in excess of 4,166 cost rental homes to be delivered across the four Dublin local authority areas.
"A record level of cost-rental homes were delivered by AHBs last year and that it expects to deliver more than that again this year."
It said the Government is fully committed to working with all stakeholders to deliver social, affordable and cost rental homes at scale.
The department said: "This is demonstrated by the record level of investment which is being provided for the delivery of housing in 2025, with overall capital funding available of €6.8 billion.
"Housing for All commits to delivering a total of 18,000 Cost Rental homes over the period to 2030, and significant funding is being made available."
It said further measures to help scale-up delivery will be considered in the context of the new housing plan.
"The government will also prioritise infrastructure development as a critical means for increasing housing supply, and expanding the capacity of the construction sector to scale up delivery."
