Two men have been arrested after around €10 million worth of cannabis was seized in Co Clare.

During the joint operation by gardaí and Revenue officers, two pallets of around 500kg of cannabis was discovered at a residence in the county.

Gardaí said it will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.

The two men, both aged in their 60s, are being held at garda stations in Co Clare and Co Limerick.

Authorities say investigations are ongoing.
