There have been a series of concerns about the financial management of the PMVT.
In December, the regulator which oversees approved housing bodies criticised the trust for "significant breaches of regulatory standards" in an inspector's report.
The Approved Housing Bodies Regulatory Authority found there were "inadequate controls and procedures" in place at the organisation.
Following the publication of its report, AHBRA announced the appointment of an independent expert to oversee reforms in the charity over six to nine months.
A statutory investigation by the Charities Regulator into the PMVT published in October, also found failures relating to management, oversight and administration by the board.
The PMVT welcomed the report's publication and acknowledged that there had been deficiencies in its financial controls.
A spokesperson for the charity said there was no one available for interview on the latest developments.
