The Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has reported a further reduction in cases of flu, the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) and Covid-19.

In the week leading up to last Saturday, there were 1,456 cases of flu recorded - down from 2,520 the previous week.

There were 268 patients hospitalised with flu last week, with one ICU admission.

Two deaths from flu were reported last week.

The HSPC figures also show 130 Covid-19 cases and 377 cases of RSV last week, all trending downwards.
