Watch: Americans in Ireland on their hopes for Trump term two

The world will be watching as Donald Trump moves back into the White House as the 47th president of the United States.

He previously served as the 45th president between 2017 and 2021.

For tens of millions of Americans, a Trump administration promises hope, particularly when it comes to their wallets.

However, others are worried that he will prioritise economics and trade, over issues like human rights and climate change.

Trump's inauguration ceremony will see him recite the oath of office: "I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
