A man in his 20s is due to appear before Monaghan District Court charged in connection with the seizure of suspected cannabis plants and herbal cannabis in Castleblayney.
Gardaí found a growhouse containing 57 cannabis plants, and 13 vacuum bags of dried cannabis herb, worth around €350,000 during a search of a premises in the town yesterday.
The operation was carried out by Monaghan Divisional Drugs Unit.
The drugs seized will now undergo further analysis with Forensic Science Ireland.
