A woman in her 60s, who was arrested as part of an investigation into a protest at the home of Taoiseach Simon Harris in May, has been released without charge.

Gardaí said a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A group of around a dozen masked individuals held banners with anti-immigrant slogans outside the house on 2 May, as Mr Harris' wife and young children were inside.

Images were subsequently circulated on social media.

The woman was arrested yesterday afternoon and was released last night.
