A woman in her 20s has died following a three-vehicle collision in Co Wexford this morning.
The collision, which involved a truck, a van and a car, occurred on the N25 at Barntown at around 6.30am.
The woman, who was driving the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body was taken to University Hospital Waterford, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
The driver of the van, a man in his 40s, was taken to Wexford General Hospital, for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road is closed for a technical examination and diversions are in place.
Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses, particularly any road users who were travelling in the area this morning and who may have camera footage (including dash cam), to contact Wexford Garda Station on 053 916 5200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
