An 11-year-old boy has been charged with rioting and throwing petrol bombs during scenes of unrest in the Broadway area of south Belfast last month.

The boy has also been charged with three counts of possessing petrol bombs in suspicious circumstances, and possessing a weapon in a public place.

He is due to appear before Belfast Youth Court on Friday.
