Tributes have been paid to an 11-year-old Co Wicklow girl who died while on holidays in Spain.
Clodagh Phelan died after falling from a hotel balcony in Majorca, Spain.
The Spanish Civil Guard has confirmed to RTÉ News that she fell from the balcony early yesterday morning and they are treating her death as an accident.
Clodagh was staying with her parents and two brothers at the Club Mac Hotel in Alcúdia, Majorca, and the family were due to return to Ireland yesterday.
Writing on X, Taoiseach Simon Harris said there was so much "promise and personality snatched away in a terrible accident."

Clodagh's athletics club Parnell AC said: "Parnell A.C. are truly heartbroken to share the devastating news of the passing of Clodagh Phelan, one of our juvenile athletes and friend to many of our younger athletes.
"Clodagh tragically passed away following an accident on holidays. Clodagh was a beautiful, spirited child and a great athlete who excelled in many sports, not just athletics.
"Her family Valerie, Liam, Will, and David and extended family are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. As a mark of respect and to allow us all time to grieve the loss of Clodagh, there will be no training until further notice."
Rathdrum Rugby Club said its members were "stunned by the tragic news of the passing of our dear club star".
In a statement, the club said that Clodagh was "a rare talent with an outstanding future ahead of her".
"Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and we will support them in every way," it added.
The Spanish Civil Guard said Clodagh had fallen from the seventh floor balcony.
Hotel staff discovered her and alerted the emergency services around 7am local time.
Counselling services have been offered to her parents.
The family had been staying in the northeast of the island, in Alcudia - a place popular with visitors in what is the height of the tourist season.
The Department of Foreign Affairs said its aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.
