A man has died following a road traffic incident in Cobh, Co Cork.
The cyclist, aged in his 70s, was discovered on the side of a road in Ballywilliam.
Gardaí attended the scene at around 8:30am.
The man was taken to Cork University Hospital in a serious condition and was pronounced dead.
Gardaí say the course of their investigation will be determined by a post-mortem examination that is due to be arranged.
