It has been confirmed that just after 6pm this evening a bomb threat was made on the home of Taoiseach Simon Harris.
Mr Harris's wife and young children were home at the time.
The threat was made in a phone call to the Samaritans helpline.
After a search of the home by gardaí, no device was found.
The Taoiseach's office is not commenting on the incident.
