Watch: Limerick's mayoral election explained

On Friday 7 June, people from all around Ireland will vote in local and European elections. But one city will see its voters have an extra ballot to cast.

The people of Limerick will be voting to elect the mayor of the city - the first time a mayor will be directly elected in Ireland.

Voters will choose from a group of 15 candidates.
