Vigil held for homeless woman found dead in Dublin

More than 100 people gathered in Dublin city centre for a vigil to remember a woman who was homeless and who was found dead yesterday morning.

The crowd sang Aslan's 'Crazy World' in tribute to 47-year-old Ann Delaney during the vigil on Aungier Street.

Dozens of red balloons were released into air as Liverpool Football Club was Ms Delaney's favourite football team.

Ms Delaney, who was originally from Co Laois, and understood to have been a nurse, was found unresponsive outside a supermarket on Aungier Street on Sunday morning.

Many people who gathered on the street tonight spoke of her intelligence and her caring nature.
