Cyclist dies following road collision in Dublin

A cyclist has died following a collision with a car in Dublin.

The incident happened at around 9.30am on the Malahide Road in Kinsealy, Dublin 17.

The man, who was in his 40s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries and died a short time later.

No one else was injured in the collision.

The road is currently closed and a technical examination is due to take place.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area between 9am and 9.30am and may have camera footage to contact them.
