A 17-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of Tristan Sherry in a restaurant in Blanchardstown on Christmas Eve.
The teenager appeared before the Dublin District Court yesterday morning.
He cannot be named because he is a minor.
Detective Garda Tom McCarrick of Blanchardstown Detective Unit gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution.
He said he charged the boy in the presence of his mother in the early hours yesterday.
The boy was remanded in custody to appear again before the Children's Court next Wednesday.
He is the fourth person to be charged in connection with the incident.
A fifth man was arrested earlier this week but he was released without charge.
