CCTV footage shows the speed at which flood waters engulfed the streets of Galway in the early hours of yesterday morning during Storm Debi.
In less than four minutes Quay Lane was inundated, leading to another clean-up effort by property owners in the area.
"I have been here for 51 years and this was probably the worst flood," said Phyllis MacNamara, the owner of jewellery shop 'Cobwebs'.
