Circus performers have been providing children in Gaza with some respite from the horror and human suffering of the Israel-Hamas conflict.
On Sunday, members of the Free Gaza Circus held a performance for displaced Gazans who have sought shelter in a school in Rafah run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNWRA).
Mohamed Khader, the founder of the group, said:"We decided to launch entertaining activities with the aim of distracting children from what's going on, and to provide them with a feeling of safety."
