Poll suggests SF remain most popular party

Sinn Féin remains the most popular party despite a slight drop in support the latest Sunday Independent/Ireland Thinks opinion poll suggests.

The party's support level is gauged at 33% which is down one point on last month.

Support for Fine Gael is up two points to 21% while Fianna Fáil is unchanged at 18%.

However, the other party in Government saw a three point drop in support and the Greens are now on 2%.

The Social Democrats are up one point to 6% while Labour are down one point to 3%.

Solidarity-PBP are unchanged on 3% as are Aontú on 2%.

Independents and others are down one point to 10% in this survey of 1,228 voters.

The opinion poll carried out on Thursday and Friday has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9%.
