The funeral of 14-year-old Lukas Joyce, who lost his life in a crash outside Headford last Monday morning, has taken place in Annaghdown, Co Galway.
The funeral heard how Lukas loved playing darts, rugby, soccer and GAA.
Yesterday, the funeral took place of 14-year-old Kirsty Bohan who also died in the crash.
Pupils from Presentation College Headford, where Lukas and Kirsty had attended school, were among those who formed a guard of honour, along with players and coaches from Corrib RFC, Annaghdown GAA and other sports clubs and organisations.
Neighbours and friends lined the road as his coffin was taken down the narrow road to Annaghdown cemetery on the banks of Lough Corrib.
Two other teenagers were seriously injured in the collision. The 13-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl are still being treated for multiple injuries at University College Hospital.
